Coding
Hello guys,
Welcome back to my blog today I will be sharing what we have been doing for coding. For Coding We have been learning how to use it to make our own projects. A Couple of weeks ago we had a dance Battle we had to create a project that was a dance theme and they each got voted. Truby won the Dance Battle he had an amazing and funny project.
Here is what I did.
The Link Will take you to watch what I did
It took Quite a while for me to get use to coding but I started to get the hang of it. The hardest part for me I recon was the coding part it was quite easy to find out what type of music I would use cause I just need to find one that matched the movements but I would really like to keep doing this I think it is great because it is fun and I get to learn new things.

The Damage of the Floods
Hi guys,
Welcome back to my blog today. I will be showing you what I have been doing for Hur. For Hur we have been learning about the floods in Canterbury and what it caused people to do for safety. In Ashburton some places and house holds were flooded and many people were asked to evacuate their houses immediately due to safety percussion.
In Sringfield people were also asked to evacuate due to floodings in the local area and had to leave their houses. In Mandeville the sports centre and Rangiora Baptist church were set up as evacuation centres. Heavy rains continued to cause more damage to places and floodings on roads which were quite scary for many people and forced them to stay home and do online school due to floodings around Christchurch and other places. Hows were you affected?
Here are some photos of damage that has happend in some places
There is a photo of a car almost getting filled with the water. it is really sad to see how much people have to leave their homes because of the floods with out somewhere to go.

Inventing my own Instrument-HUR2
Hi guys,
welcome back to my blog today I will be sharing with you what I have been doing for HUR2 this week. This week we are making our own Instruments. Orchestra
Hi guys,
Welcome back to my blog today I will be sharing with you what an Orchestra does and how it helps the band and why its important to have a orchestra. Orchestra is good for bands because it helps you tell when to stop and when to start. When having an orchestra you must keep your eyes on the orchestra because if you look away then you will not no what to do and what note you would have to do. Here is a video of an orchestra Video There is a video of an orchestra and how much better it sounds with a orchestra.
There are 4 Families of Instruments Percussion, Wood Wind, String and Brass. Here is a photo of some Instruments in those 4 families
There is a photo of percussion instruments now here is a photo of an orchestra
There is a photo of an orchestra. orchestra's mostly stand in the centre of the band so everyone can see the orchestra and so they know what there doing. If there was no orchestra in a band I think they would need a lot of practice in my opinion.
Hope you had learnt something about an orchestra and why there are always people standing in the middle with a little stick called baton.
What is Music-HUR2
Hi guys,
Welcome back to my blog today I will be sharing what we did way back in week 2. I did not do this blog post so I am doing it now. Back in weeks 2 of the term we were working on a blog post about what is music. what is music? Well music can be made with any type of object. You can even make music out of you body parts like you hands, feet and your mouth too.
If you are using parts of your body to make music that means it's called body percussion. If you dont know what body percussion is well I will tell you now. Body percussion is basically using parts of your body to make sound witch is music. Here is a link to a video of body percussion Link There is a link to a cool video of people doing body percussion and making music.
Here is a photo of what body percussion would be like
That is what body percussion is. Like I said body percussion is parts of your body to make music. Hope you learnt something.

Take a look at some guitars that are used in bands a lot.
There are guitars that are normally used in bands. If it is in a Rock band then that would normally use Electrical guitars.
Here is one of the Guitarist that I have heard before.
This is Eric Clapton he is a amazing Guitarist that I have heard before.

Body percussion is when you can use parts of your body to make music like your hands, foot, head and even your legs. Here is a video on you tube that you can watch and see what body percussion is.
